Nail Art: Flower Tips

I'd like to share the nail art that I wore when I did a demo of fimo and stamping nail art for Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho, a local television program. Sadly, it didn't touch nail art that much but concentrated on nail polish. The segment showed me having my nails done and my hands doing fimo nail art and stamping. I recorded the segment and I'll upload and post it here soon. To all my friends that I bothered to watch it, thank you so much!

Here's a fimo nail art that I did for the shoot:

I simply named it flower tips.

This is how the base color looks bare:

Nail Art: Something Blue

This nail art has been in my files for quite some time now and I've almost forgotten to post it! I wore this a week ago. I simply called it Something Blue. Sorry, the wedding of a special friend is just around the corner and I'm feeling romantic. Hence, the name of this design.

This is a layer of base coat, 2 coats of Orly Blue Collar, stamp design from the Bundle Monster BM20 image plate, used white Konad special polish for stamping, and embellished with a fimo nail art.

Nail Art: Pink Bow

When I started going to a nail salon, I've almost always ask for a french manicure and pedicure. I was very hesitant to try dark shades of polishes. But eventually, I began to try different colors and loved the darker nail polishes. And so, I figured I should do some tips for today's nail art. I simply call it, Pink Bow.

This is a layer of base coat, 2 coats of Orly Tennis Everyone, and a layer of top coat. For the tips, I used an image from Konad m63 plate and Konad white special polish.

Nail Art: Starry Starry Night

I asked my sister to name this nail art for me and she came up with "Starry, Starry, Night". I had no complaints. This would be my first time to use one of my fimo nail art sticks and I got excited.

I've recently purchased a few colors from Caronia last weekend. I found some interesting colors I'd like to add to my nail polish stash. I used the Caronia Dare Frosted for today's nail art.

This is 1 layer of base coat, 2 coats of Caronia Dare Frosted, and a layer of top coat. I'm loving the shimmer and the color. I can't actually tell whether it's blue? Is it aqua blue? But I like it anyway.

3D Nail Art Accessories

I'm sure you already know by now that I love nail art. Ever since I gave in to my nail art addiction, I've been trying to scout for tools and accessories. Oh, and I have to mention that I've been hauling on nail polishes! Haha! Anyway, I found a few local suppliers of 3D nail art accessories but the price was way too high! Luckily, further persistence landed me a good deal so I took it.

Since I wasn't in a hurry to get my items and actually, I was on a budget, I opted for the cheapest shipping rate that promised to have the items delivered in 2-3 weeks. My anticipation ended when I received via post mail a notification that my package arrived last August 10, 2010 and I could already pick it up at the Philippine Postal Office!

The much anticipated package!

It was my 1st time to get something from the Postal Office so I asked my Tatay (Father) to accompany me. He even drove us there! *hugs*
