Friends, please welcome Oliver and Olivia, the owls!
Owls In Love Nail Art Design by Simply Rins
My first male and female version were penguins. I didn't think of naming them back then. But when I did my whales nail art, I figured it would be really cute to name them. I decided to do so ever since. :)
Oliver the Owl
I wanted a dark blue base color for this design and I was deliberating between 2 polishes and decided to wear 2 coats of China Glaze Midnight Passion simply because it has the word "midnight" on it! What could be more appropriate for these nocturnal animals, right? I had no problem with the application and I think the subtle shimmer is perfect as background for this nail design.
All designs were painted using acrylic paint.
Olivia the Owl
I painted the owls identical to each other except that I added a pink ribbon on the female one. Perhaps a few eyelashes would look good as well. And to denote that they are a couple, I freehand red hearts on the rest of my nails.
I hope you liked Oliver and Olivia. I'm having a blast doing animal designs. I think they're adorable and would make nails really interesting to see.
