My Biggest Fan and a Grand Opening

For a few months now, I gave up my love for shoes and coffee so I can splurge (a little) on nail polish! One of my favorite things to do is to hang out with friends or alone while enjoying a good cup of coffee at a coffee shop. When I started embracing my nail polish/art craze, I wanted to buy a lot (and I mean alot!) of colors that I wanted to try out. But this meant I needed to cut on some of my expenses. My nail polish stash is not that big but it's growing. But not only thanks to me! My Nanay (Filipino word for "mother") has been giving me nail polishes as gifts! She is truly my biggest fan! :)

This month, Etude House, a famous Korea cosmetics brand, opened a branch at SM City North Edsa and Nanay got me more than a handful of nail polishes! Woot!

Nail Polishes From Nanay 03
From left: BL501, GR601, GR605, and PP904. I can't find the weight of the polish on the bottle but by the size of it, it's approximately 8ml.

That's PP007 on the farthest left and the other 2 bottles are not properly labeled or else my eyes are disappointing me because I can't find it! You'll definitely love the shimmers on these nail polishes.

Nail Polishes From Nanay 02
These nail polishes are designed to help you do your french tips with ease. It has a thinner brush and comes in 5ml bottles. Good for nail art too, specially in filling shapes.

Just last week, Nanay bought me another haul!

OPI nail lacquers! The Swiss Collection in Minis and Tickle My France-y.

I bought one of the polishes Nanay gave me from Etude House to my visit to Nuvo Nails 2 weeks ago.

This is 2 coats of Etude House PP007. I really really love the shimmer on this one. And as always, my favorite hand nail technician, Malou, did a perfect job cleaning and polishing my nails! So neat!

Nuvo Nails will be celebrating its grand opening on the 6th of November 2010. There will be food and discounts! Call for an appointment now at (02) 5698106 or thru their mobile no. 09335230592. I've also recently found out that they honor the Senior Citizen discount of 20%! I think this is really awesome. Kudos to Nuvo Nails! My Nanay would definitely love this.
