Glitter Up Your Nails Contest

It is that time again when opportunity knocks on every nail art enthusiasts here in the Philippines to challenge their creativity through nail art! BYS Philippines just launched its Glitter Up Your Nails Contest, a nail art contest that entails being imaginative in using the BYS Glitter for Nails Collection.

The kit is very easy to use and it glams your nails as easy as A-B-C. I'm sure you can all come up with something fancy with any of the available colors! The only limit is your imagination!

Every BYS Glitter for Nails kit comes like this:


It includes a regular polish, a glitter pot, and a cleaning brush. There are 11 colors available. For your reference, please read my review and see swatches here. I also did a video tutorial on how to use the kit here.

But the nail art contest challenges you to have more fun with the collection. Here are a few personal ideas that I cooked up for the BYS Glitter for Nails launch a few months back:


Here's a classic black and white stripes.
Perhaps you can use more colors
and create a rainbow effect! Or use
black and gold to have a glam bumblebee
inspired nails!

Maybe this simple swirl design can give you
inspiration for a design! How about making it
two-toned or multi-colored swirls!

Another idea is to play with shapes and sizes! This
simple big dots design may tickle your imagination.
Remember that color combination plays a big part
on the overall appearance of a nail design. ;)

So far, my favorite among what I've done is this
dripping inspired nail art. Perhaps a darker background
would make the colors pop. Perhaps using more colors
can make this more interesting. How about placing the
drips on the nail tips?
I'm sure you can come up with more amazing nail art designs using the BYS Glitter for Nails! Don't be afraid to experiment. Oh, and for a personal tip ... mix the glitters to create other colors! ;)

3. Wait for a notification that your work has made it to the Voting period.
4. Ask your friends to like your nail artwork!

I'm inviting all nail art enthusiasts here in the Philippines to join. I know that this is a competition but if you ask me, it's more of an outlet to challenge our creativity and most especially, an opportunity to let go and have fun! Sometimes, the experience is more worth it than the prizes at stake. :)
