More Dazzle Dry Nail Lacquers

I wanted to post another Halloween inspired nail design but I'd like to share a few more Dazzle Dry polish swatches first. There will be a lot of orange shades in this post. I'm still not sure if this color is a compliment to my skin tone but I am starting to like a few shades.

Okay, here we go ...

Dazzle Dry Amber Glow
Dazzle Dry Amber Glow

In the first photo is Dazzle Dry Amber Glow in 2 coats. It was very difficult to photograph this color and I don't think my picture did this polish justice. In person, you can see hints of brown. Amber Glow is gorgeous and probably one of the oranges I'd grow to like. It has excellent consistency and so opaque that it could be a one coater.

Dazzle Dry Orange Sorbet

Dazzle Dry Orange Sorbet is brighter than Amber Glow. Also really opaque but you'd probably appreciate this color more with 2 coats. I had no problems with application since consistency was very manageable.

Dazzle Dry Citrus Streak

If you're looking for a basic orange nail polish, you'd like Dazzle Dry Citrus Streak. Slightly shimmered and application was tricky. I suggest 3 thin coats for full coverage as I found consistency to be a little thick. If you're thinking of wearing a skittles manicure, you'd like Citrus Streak on your stash.

Dazzle Dry Spicy Date

Next is Dazzle Dry Spicy Date in 2 coats. Definitely a one coater but if you are like me who feels uncomfortable with only a layer, go ahead and add another. Two thin coats is recommended. Application is a breeze and it has excellent consistency. I love this shade and my photo is not doing it justice. In person, it is a dark red orange hue. Of all the orange shades I've tried, this one I absolutely like.

Dazzle Dry Linen Lace
Dazzle Dry Linen Lace

One of the colors I cannot live without as a nail artist is white and Dazzle Dry Linen Lace will definitely become a staple to future nail designs that requires me to have a blank background. In the photo is 3 layers of Linen Lace for complete coverage. This is a subtle white compared to Dazzle Dry White Lightning. Linen Lace is sheer and has a slightly thick consistency which makes application tricky. To work around this, apply 2 thin coats and add the 3rd one gently by making sure the brush barely touches your nails.

Dazzle Dry Cotton Candy

Dazzle Dry Cotton Candy in 2 coats is delicious to look at. A very bright pink creme polish that is a stunner on the nails. Consistency is slightly thick and is surprisingly very opaque. 2 thin coats is enough for full coverage. I am not really fond of pinks but I can see myself wearing this on days when I like to just have fun with my nails.

Dazzle Dry Lavander Parade

Purple is also one of the colors that I don't have a lot on my polish stash. Dazzle Dry Lavender Parade"> is a exactly what the name is, it is lavender. If you're into pastels, this would be a worthwhile addition to your collection. This creme polish has a thick consistency and you might have problem with visible brush strokes. I recommend 2 thin coats to remedy the tricky application.

Dazzle Dry Aztec Blue

Dazzle Dry Aztec Blue is a sheer and shimmer nail polish from the brand that I think looks lovely. I used 3 coats to achieve full opacity on the nails. I love it this way. But if you don't mind showing a little of your nail bed, 2 coats would be sufficient. You'll have no problems with application and consistency is excellent.

Dazzle Dry Love's Secret

Next in line is Dazzle Dry Love's Secret. Shown in the photo is 2 coats. It has superb consistency and application is as easy as ABC. True to its name, Love's Secret does have a secret. It actually have hints of silver shimmer. It is obvious in the bottle and subtle on your nails which I love. You can see it in the photo if you stare at it a little. I think my mom would love this. She particularly likes nude shades.

Dazzle Dry Raspberry Plum

Another goooorgeous shade is Dazzle Dry Raspberry Plum. I used 2 coats but can be a one coater. This creme polish is both reddish and pinkish. Lovely and really sexy on the nails. Consistency is good and application didn't cause me any problems. If I am not going to wear red, I'd wear this.

Dazzle Dry Petal to the Metal
Dazzle Dry Pedal to the Metal

Finally, this is Dazzle Dry Pedal to the Metal in 2 layers. Super sheer that gives your nails a pinkish look with one coat and a more nude look with 2 coats. Perfect for french manicures or to those women who would like to have a no-polish look. Easy application and very manageable consistency.

Any favorite/s? If you'll ask me, Spicy Date tops my list but Pedal to the Metal surprised me the most ... in a good way. ;)

Disclosure: I borrowed Citrus Streak, Spicy Date, and Amber Glow for purposes of this review post. Dazzle Dry Nail Lacquers can be purchased here (Philippines) and here (USA).

  8. I am working through these reviews you are doing. Yes and going backwards. They are so helpful and it's great how you tell us if they are sheer or not. It's impossible to tell on the website. Thank you you reviews are very helpful in the way of helping me choose what
