Nail Art: Lined

I am currently swamped with backlogs here on my blog. I'm slowly attending to things and today, I'd like to share something simple. I actually submitted this nail art design for a local magazine. It includes a tutorial that I'll also post here in Simply Rins when it get published. For now, allow me to share with you some photos.

This is a simple freehand nail design that was inspired by fashion. You have to read the details when the magazine comes out. *wink*

I used 3 thin coats of Orly Kiss The Bride as my base color. It is a very light pink shade that I think was perfect for the colors I wanted for the design, which are brown and golden yellow.

As for the design, I used a stripper nail art brush and some acrylic paints.

I called this nail design "Lined" simply because it is comprised of lines. It is a simple concept that any nail art enthusiast can do. It is very versatile too in terms of the colors that you can use.

Instinctively, I would have drawn the vertical line at the center of each nail. But to make this simple idea more interesting, I decided to draw it a little closer to one side to create some perspective. And I liked how it turned out.
