"So what if other people do not like your nail art? You do not wear it for them."
There are times when I do nail art and wonder if people will like it. Sometimes, worrying about it overwhelms me that it is hard to actually decide what nail design to wear. I eventually realized that what is most important is how I feel about my nail art because in the end, it only needs to impress me anyway. We only need to worry if we are happy about how our nails look. Compliments are a bonus. :)
Nail art used in photo is Little Things.

I agree with you, completely! WE have to be happy about how our nails look... and compliments are a bonus... :-)
ReplyDeleteYes, yes! I find myself wearing a particular nail art longer if I am very happy with it. Sometimes, it only lasts a day when I am not satisfied with the design.
DeleteI agree!!! And this flower pattern is super cute!
ReplyDeleteThank you! I hope all nail art enthusiasts feel the same way so that they will not feel pressured of impressing other people. :)
Deleteyep, so true, i love my nails, i don't force anyone to even like it ;)
ReplyDeleteRight on! Life is short to even worry about negative comments, right?
DeleteYou're absolutely correct. That being said, this nail art is really cute!
ReplyDeleteThank you! Maybe you can find inspiration from it. :)
DeleteYou're sooo right! I also sometimes feel that way and there are days when I think about designs on end, rejecting one after the other for fear it might not amaze anyone! Those days are total frustration and I end up thinking I'm on a low inspiration phase. Then, I snap out of it and do my nails for myself - which is what one must always do! It's our little pleasure, right? Why complicate it with what others may think?! :D
ReplyDeleteThat's why I love this quote so much! <3 (sorry for the lenghty comment ;))
I totally get what you mean because I experienced that myself. Hence, the quote. Yes! It is our little pleasure and in reality, we really can't please everyone so might as well just worry about how we feel, right? :)
DeleteI don't mind long comments. I love to read them! :)
I agree. Sometime I don't want to share some of my designs because of fear that others won't like them. But, then I say what the heck and show them anyway :)
ReplyDeleteYou know, sometimes I don't feel like sharing a particular nail design because I don't like it as much. But when I do, it surprises me sometimes that people actually appreciates it. Thank you for sharing this sentiment. :)
DeleteExactly - what I wear on my nails is supposed to make me happy, and luckily my husband likes 99% of what I do too!
ReplyDeleteI show all my design on my bog, or at least 99% - and even things I am not really have with - pleases others who think I'm silly for not liking it LOL
That fact made me realize that there is someone out there for each and every design :)
Very true! I always wonder too but it's indeed yourself you have to please.
