NCLA Nail Lacquers

NCLA Nail Lacquers has made its way to my polish rack. I have 2 shades from the brand that I'll be sharing with you in this post.

From the name, you'd probably figured where the brand originated. NCLA came from Los Angeles, California and is relatively new in the nail industry. They claim to be one of the 5-free nail polish brand. That means their nail lacquers are not only free of Formaldehyde, Dibutyl Phthalate (DBP) and Toluene. It also means that each bottle does not have Formaldehyde Resin and Camphor. I simply think that's great.

Let's start with the color closer to my heart ...

NCLA Without Me There is No VIP was described a rich red wine that is infused with tiny multi-colored glitters. I'm not sure about it being red but I do like the hints of colors that were added. Consistency was slightly thick and I found application tricky. I almost always get bumps. You also had to be careful with visible brush strokes. Overall, I found this bottle quite problematic.

Each NCLA nail polish comes in a slim edgy bottle. It looks beautiful and is definitely a space saver on any polish helmer. But it can easily tip over when you're doing your own nails.

This next color I'm sharing is a shade I'm also starting to love. I now noticed the growing number of blues I have in my polish collection.

NCLA Call Me For The After Party

NCLA Call Me For The After Party was described as a dark, rich and metallic midnight blue. Yes to that because it is all that. It has excellent consistency and application was very manageable. The only problem I had was having visible brush strokes. You can remedy this by applying the polish very lightly.

If you are into vampy colors (like me!), I'm sure you'll love this blue. I think it would be great for a girls night out or whenever you'd just like to make your nails look sexy.

Do you own a NCLA nail lacquer? If you do, please share with us the colors you find worthy of having. :)
