The restaurant looks like a park from outside with all the giant monkeys and Buddhas that you'll see. Aside from the fresh food, several attractions awaits each visitor.
Before, during and after you eat, be serenaded by musicians. Isdaan management recommends that you tip these musicians Php20.
Upon entering the restaurant, a friendly staff will accompany you to a floating bahay kubo of your preference. This will serve as your dining area during your stay. Yes, it is floating in a body of water that's 6-9ft deep! It's because of this that wearing life vests, provided by Isdaan, for kids is mandatory.
One of the games you can play at Isdaan is the monkey challenge. My sister did this. All you have to do is mimic the monkey statues.
What you can also do is get your family and friends so that a different person mimics the monkeys simultaneously. That would have been a better picture!
The most challenging game you'll encounter in Isdaan is this:
This challenge is called San Kilo Bridge. The rules are simple. Cross the bridge, back and forth, and win 1 kilo of fresh fish! There are obstacles though. The bridge is approximately just a foot wide and there are large shells that you must avoid.
If you fall while crossing, you lose.
It seems easy but it gets harder when you're almost at the other end because you must cross while being urinated by a giant monkey! No, it is not really urine. It's just water that's going to try to make you fall while trying to avoid those large shells!
Don't worry about falling down. You'll be in a life vest and there's a shower room that you can use.
Aside from musicians, visitors of Isdaan can also enjoy watching dancers perform Filipino folk dances. I personally think that this is a great way to remind Filipino visitors of our heritage or to showcase it to tourists who visits Isdaan for a good meal.

I did say that life in the city can be stressful, right? Isdaan helps us to relieve this stress through their Tacsiyapo Wall.
Throw mugs, plates, or even a TV monitor to release anger! I threw 2 mugs that cost me Php15 each. This is the cheapest that you can buy. Look for your source of anger or stress from the wall ... aim ... throw with all your might!
While exploring Isdaan, we saw this at the back of the restaurant:
You can rent the boat for a fee if you feel like it. The pond is not that big but I think it would be a great ride for kids.
On a higher ground, you'll see a buddha which you can make a wish to.
Hold the Buddha's right hand as you make a wish then ring the bell joyously.
Isdaan is also a good place for photo shoots. Enjoy the giant statues as backdrops for your pictures. There are also several life-sized statues all over the place that you can have your picture taken with.
My father loved the bulalo here and my partner particularly enjoyed the shrimps cooked in gata or coconut milk. We will definitely be back to try the other delicacies!
How to get there:
Take the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) and exit at Dau. Take the Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway (SCTEx) which you will see on your right after NLEX. Follow the Tarlac route. This will take you to Gerona highway. Isdaan will be on your left.
